Unfortunately, motorhomes are not always optimally equipped ex works.
This primarily affects the on-board electronics.
On the one hand, more and more consumers are being installed on board to increase comfort, but on the other hand, the necessary infrastructure is not being provided.
So often high-quality on-board batteries are already installed ex works, but not infrequently they cannot prove their advantages - or fail prematurely - because they are simply not sufficiently and not properly charged:
The built-in charging power at the socket is usually much too low, while driving through the alternator more than insufficient, because in Euro 5+ and Euro 6 vehicles the alternator is switched off as soon as the starter battery is fully charged.
During idle times without mains connection, no recharging at all takes place.
Always the full charge
These problems are solved by the MT PowerPacks from BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK:
At 230 V, thanks to the additional charge (+ 20 A), an IUoU charge of the same quality is available as while driving via the booster function (also 20 A).
The PowerPack Basic can be installed parallel to existing basic electronics in any motorhome.
The BCB20/20 supplies an additional 20A for mains connection (230V).
The BCB works in booster mode during travel. It switches on when required, requests 20A charging current from the alternator, regulates to the required charging voltage (battery type adjustable) and charges with optimum IUoU characteristic wet, gel or AGM batteries.
Guaranteed constant charging current for Euro 5+ and Euro 6 vehicles.
The MTiQ Basic battery computer included in the set displays the remaining battery capacity, the current power consumption and the pending charge at the touch of a button.
Easy mounting:
The set includes a high load relay (80A) with cable set. Thus, the installation of BCB and battery computer is very easy to realize even in vehicles with already installed electric block (EBL).
