Prevents gas leakage in case of damage or loosening of the hose assembly and shuts off the gas passage as soon as the nominal flow rate is exceeded by 10%. Manual hose rupture protection SBS: no delay or leakage gas volume, but manual opening necessary.

Note (1/2): Hose assemblies longer than 400 mm must be secured with a hose rupture protection SBS in accordance with the requirements of the DGUV regulation 79 (German Social Accident Insurance - previously BGV D 34).

Note (2/2): Hose assemblies longer than 1500 mm must be secured with a hose rupture protection SBS in accordance with the DVGW worksheet G 612.
