DEKASEAL 8936 is a high-quality, permanently tacky, non-hardening, plastic-staying sealant based on polyisobutylene (PIB). Excess material can simply be dabbed off with itself. DEKASEAL 8936 cannot be painted over.
Dabbable sealant for frames, open exterior surfaces, drains, roof hatches, hoses and cable penetrations, and windows or flaps. Application on paints, aluminum, ABS, PMMA or wood.

- Sealing of overlaps and joint in e.g. bus, caravan, motorhome, train and truck construction.
- Sealing of screw connections.
- Sealing of sun roof systems.
- Application under facing strips for the installation of windows and dome lights in caravans and motorhomes, trailers and container construction.
- Suitable for use between metal plates, glass, GRP, wood and other materials.
- Sealing of rubber-glass connections in buses, cars, trains and trucks.
Swab sealant for applications without visible joint edge (flap, hatches,doors, side windows, etc.).) Sealing of: - almost all screwed connections - edge, trim and keder strips - headlights, taillights, rear cameras - application under the mounting frames when installing windows in caravans and motor homes - suitable for use between metal plates, glass, GRP, wood and other materials.
