8 mm or 10 mm diameter: When, what, what for? For 50 mbar gas systems, the diameter for gas pipes and their connecting parts is 8 mm. As a result of the conversion to the lower operating pressure of 30 mbar, it therefore makes sense to increase the quantity of gas arriving at the distributors (distributor blocks) in order to ensure a constant and sufficient supply to the individual consumers. This means that the gas tank/cylinder connection to the manifold block can be equipped with a 10 mm diameter system. Please note: the supply from the distributor block to the individual consumers must still be carried out with a diameter of 8 mm.
