CAMPING
CAMPER VAN CONVERSION
SPARE PARTS Quick disconnection of the cylinder hose in an emergency: In an emergency, the hose can be disconnected quickly and safely to prevent uncontrolled gas leakage.
Enhanced safety thanks to a double non-return valve: The check valve integrated on both sides prevents gas leakage both on the cylinder side and on the filling line side. This makes regular disconnection, e.g. for forklift cylinders or similar applications, safe and straightforward.
Prevention of refuelling when the hose is disconnected: Thanks to the double non-return valve, gas can only flow when the coupling is properly connected.
Installation:
The quick-connect coupling must be fitted directly to the multi-valve of the gas cylinder, between the inlet nozzle and the LPG filling hose.
Areas of application:
All approved gas cylinders with separate filling and withdrawal connections. Particularly suitable for applications where regular disconnection is required, such as for forklift cylinders.

Safety and warning instructions
To be used only by trained specialist personnel:Work on gas pipes or couplings must only be carried out by qualified specialists.
Check before use:Check the quick-connect coupling for damage, wear or dirt before connecting it. A defective coupling must not be used.
Avoid improper use: Use the coupling only for the intended gas cylinders and filling lines. Tampering with or modifying the coupling is strictly prohibited.
Ensuring tightness:Carry out a leak test after every installation or use to prevent gas leaks.
Specific warnings
1. Mechanical risks:
Warning: Ensure that the coupling is fully engaged before filling the cylinder. A pipe that is not correctly secured may come loose during operation and lead to gas leaks.
Note: If there is unusually high mechanical resistance, do not force the coupling open or closed.
2. Thermal risks:
Warning: The coupling must not be operated outside the specified temperature range (-20 °C to +60 °C), as this could impair its function and weaken the material.
3. Malfunction of the non-return valve:
Warning: Check the function of the non-return valve regularly. If the valve does not close properly, there is a risk of a gas leak when disconnected.
Note: If the non-return valve is defective, the quick-release coupling must be replaced immediately.
4. Accidental disconnection of the hose:
Warning: Always use the retaining clip to prevent the hose from becoming accidentally disconnected.
Note: Check the function of the retaining clip regularly and replace it if damaged.
Maintenance and inspection instructions
Regular inspections: Check the quick-release coupling at least every 6 months for visible damage, material fatigue and the functionality of all moving parts.
Checking seals: Replace seals if they are brittle, damaged or worn. Use only spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Functional tests: Test the quick-release mechanism and the non-return valve regularly to ensure that both are working correctly.
Cleaning: Clean the coupling using only mild cleaning agents. Do not use aggressive chemicals, as these can damage the material.
Emergency measures in the event of malfunctions
Gas leak: Stop refuelling immediately. Remove the coupling and replace it with a tested unit.
Faulty quick-release coupling: Secure the tank immediately and do not continue to use the coupling.
