The Mobileye 630 is the safety solution for collision prevention and reduction. Potential dangerous situations are detected and the driver is warned by acoustic and optical signals. It supports the driver in the form of a "third eye" to continuously keep an eye on what is happening in front of the vehicle. The intelligent camera included in the system is attached to the vehicle's inner windscreen. It uses Mobileye technologies to monitor the road ahead of the vehicle. The LCD display warns with image and illuminated symbols.
Using an intelligent optical sensor that acts like a bionic eye, the system detects a variety of potential threats on the road such as vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians and more. The distance and relative speeds of these objects are continuously measured to calculate the risk of the driver colliding with them - even road markings and traffic signs are detected.
