What does DVB-T mean? More programmes, improved picture and audio quality, new interactive/multimedia applications and above all portable and within certain limits also mobile reception, e.g. in the riding car, in bus, in the train or at the campground, with a simple room-, roof or with a small DVB-T-equipment antenna . Additional data transmission e.g. for information-, navigation and/or safety systems also in connection with telephone or mobile phone. Thereby picture and audio quality are significantly improved by the digital transmission way , audio noise and so-called â??ghost imagesâ?? as by the analog reception are past. What is needed? A Set-Top-Box add-on receiver, that will be connected between antenna and the existing television set (similar to the well-known satellite receiver) as well as a terrestrial antenna.
